A poem I had wrote when in city year doing community service

KEEPING THE DREAM ALIVE

Martin Luther King had a dream that one day that we would be united as a nation.
As people we all have dream, and as a young hero I’m keep not only Dr. King dream alive but the many who wish to make this world a better place! As a young hero I’m keeping someone dream alive. Gathering, taking time out from our lives to keep someone dream alive. Different kids all from different place, with different idea. But the one thing we all agree on is what we came here to do and that’s keeping the dream alive! Everyone talks about working towards a goal that’s what were here to do make that goal that dream a reality.
Making our community, a better place! Somewhere your proud to grow up in not wanting out of this life. Everyone dreams of the best having best the better life! Being in young heroes we want that for everyone! Taking our engery, and time into a Saturday of community service! Working on keeping the dream alive. Building fighting, doing what folks dream of. Were are keeping the dream alive! I stand proud and strong being a young hero has taught me to stick to my beliefs. I’m keeping the dream alive my dream alive.

TRUE LOVE

Wats wrong with me y do I always get attact. Girls telling me they love me all jus lies some times I feel the same way but sometimes I jus say it back. But this time I felt something now that I haven’t felt in a while! But I’m losing wat I gained the glance of an angel in my eyes the pretty face warm smile that brighten up my day! Darknesss surrounds me , like being trap inside an box with nothing but blacks wall tightly shut no open but filled wit cracks which represent s my life being slowly decayed! An mirrior of reflection upon the wall Looking up spyin grayish clouds. Being brought down by the scencary . Yet not at tear drop comes down my eyes feeling the need to cry! For some reason I smile. Think Yes this is my world . An black box without an exit sometimes an crack of sunlight shines threw the cracks but then the rain comes and the sunlight fades away you maybe a little confused about wat I’m telling you r you understand my pain. Don’t you wish that there was no hurt but were come love comes pain! Ppl come and go like seasons . People may seem rite for then they turn out to be imposters don’’t be fooled. No, don’t think I don’t believe in true love. For there is one who lovesd all the time behind the scence though it all. I’m just realizing she was in front of me all the time. You know who u r! tears fall down my eyes at the same time I laugh. Going though this pain when she was there the whole time loving me behind it all. As I sit in this black box and staring into the mirrior reflecting. She was always there protecting me. An image walks up behind me blinking by light can’t see her face puts her arms around me. An hug an kiss upon the lips the two of us intertwain. We both being blinkig by light! The walls of my boxes began to fall the sun raise the clouds clear. I found the one , true love. She and I am one!

P.O.G II ESSAY

Philosophy of Government II

The constitution does effectively protect individual liberties because during the iDeal society, the citizen used protesting, use of the court to fight against the ideas they oppose ( the I-chip), president veto bill that violates 4 amendment. My first key point that makes me think the constitution effectively resolve conflict is Congress passing a bill that reinstating Fourth amendment right of privacy. The bill was that the government was not permitted to track your movement without a warrant from a judge. To counter this, the president has the power to veto the bill. That is exactly what our president in our iDeal society did she, reject the bill and refuse to pass it because it broke the fourth amendment. Yet even though the president veto the bill. Congress has the power to check the president decision by overriding the veto, with vote of 2/3 of congress. Located Article 1 Section: 7 in the Constitution. In our iDeal society simulation our congress did override the president veto. This situation shows that the constitution does resolve conflict. Without the constitution the president wouldn’t be able to check congress, from disregarding the rights of the citizens. My second key point is the constitution permitts, the ability to take judicial action, when they felt there rights have been violated, wrongly done or an issue that must be resolve. Located in Article 3 Section 1. In our iDeal society simulation. A citizen ,Malik Copper had died and his family sued Apple feeling that the I-chip was the impact of his death. So begin the Apple vs. Citizen case. In the case on Apple vs. Citizens, the citizen lack evidence, and caught in a more than one lie. All there witness had different stories, as a result Apple came out with victory. To prevent this, the citizen would have to prove without a reasonable doubt that the I-chip was the main cause of death. If the citizens felt that the case was miss trialed and wanted to check the power of the courts they could take the case to a higher court. But then they would have to come with a constitutional question dealing with the case. My last key point is the citizens were able to protest, and start petitions against the I-chip. The constitution First Amendment gives the right of free of speech and press. Without the constitution this right could be taking away and we would be able to do anything about the I-chip. But to counter all the protesting and petitions. The president could pass a bill stating that your not able to do these things. To check the president the citizen can sued for there rights being violated. The constitution does effectively resolve conflict. Without it we wouldn’t be able to protest, congress could pass any bill taking away our rights, and take issues to court. Conflict would build up. Without being able to turn to something and saying no you can’t do that cause it against the law but you can’t do that with no
law ( the constitution). My reason prove the constitution does effectively resolve conflict.
